Earlier, Mr. Jain was Vice President Marketing at Voltaire that provides High Performance Grid Interconnect solutions. At Voltaire, he conceived & developed a winning product line including advanced networking hardware and software solutions. He put together technology and marketing partnerships with Intel, AMD, Oracle, and IBM. Prior to Voltaire, Mr. Jain served as Vice President Marketing & Business Development for Kerenix, an early stage company in the routing and switching space.
Prior to Kerenix, Mr. Jain served in executive marketing roles with Bay Networks and Nortel Networks. At Bay/Nortel he brought to market some of the most successful networking products ever introduced by Nortel including switches, routers and VPN solutions. Mr. Jain also has held executive positions at Ameritech (now Southwestern Bell), DSC Communications (now Alcatel) and Fujitsu. Mr. Jain's broad domain experience covers telecom, data networking. VPNs. security, storage, and software.

An Indian Police Service officer (IPS) officer from Madhya Pradesh cadre, Mr Rajgopal gained experience at leadership levels in different aspects of policing in the vast state with multiple security problems. These included anti-insurgency operations in the vast jungles of Madhya Pradesh. He also spent a major chunk of his service in the top intelligence organizations of the Govt of India.
